The general admission requirements apply according to the law governing higher education of the federal state of Rheinland-Pfalz § 65.
The entry requirements are:
• the general certificate of aptitude for higher education or in a specified subject area
• or the certificate of aptitude for specialized higher education
• or a vocational training, which includes at least two years of vocational activity or a further training qualification attained through a master craftsman’s diploma or, alternatively, through a comparable examination (for example, at a technical college).
Additional requirements are knowledge of English and German (for immigrants) at level B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. A provisional acceptance with B1 level knowledge of languages is possible.
